PHP5

Though many people still use PHP4, it’s starting to become a thing of the past. There will be no more updates for it and support will be ending. By the time MyCustomBB is released, the majority of people will more than likely be upgraded to PHP5. With PHP6 being planned, MyCustomBB may as well take advantage of the features PHP5 has to provide instead of being compatible with such an old PHP version. MyCustomBB is meant to take advantage of the newest technologies, so all code will therefore be upgraded to PHP5 and PHP4 support will be abandoned. The next template system release will represent this change as well.
